L'ABBAYE DE VALMAGNE

Beschreibung

Founded in the 12th century, the abbey adopted the rule of Citeaux. Sold as a National Property during the Revolution, it becomes a wine estate. The old abbey has preserved Romanesque and Gothic elements, the church contains a collection of lightning bolts, the chapter house is used for painting exhibitions. In the former monks' hall you can find wine-growing equipment.
